Smartroam's Spectacular Debut at MWC Barcelona

Smartroam, led by the dynamic trio of Mike, Dan, and Jen, made its highly anticipated debut at this year's Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, marking a significant milestone for our team. As we reflect on our first appearance at this respected global event, we can't help but feel an overwhelming sense of pride and excitement for the journey ahead.

With the GSMA estimating an impressive turnout of over 110,000 attendees, including a surprise visit from the King of Spain this years’ MWC 2024 was the place to be!

Navigating through the enormous seven halls of the Gran Fira, we were awestruck by the impressive displays and groundbreaking technologies showcased by industry giants such as Huawei, Vodafone, Samsung, T-Mobile, and Nokia. From Motorola's innovative rollable smartphone with its bendable pOLED display to flying car protypes, and exciting telecom partnerships like Nokia's collaboration with Intel to enhance 5G efficiency, there was no shortage of captivating developments to explore.

But it wasn’t all just technology and tapas - one of the real highlights for us was the opportunity to connect with potential customers face to face and strengthen relationships with our existing partners. 

As we said adios to Barcelona, we couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation for the future. The connections made, insights gained, and experiences shared at this year's event have set the stage for Smartroam's continued growth and success.
